Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andreas Ottosson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vadim Lavrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ottosson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Clawfinger - Biggest & The Best. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ottosson misses with a lunging right hand
and Ottosson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Ottosson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lavrov gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Lavrov is pressed up against the cage. Ottosson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lavrov down to the mat. Lavrov avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Vadim Lavrov hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Ottosson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lavrov on the side of the head.
Lavrov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Ottosson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Lavrov is trying to get back to full guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ottosson connects with a nice short shot to Lavrov's temple.
