Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Niwat Sirichok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gonzalo Duarte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzalo Duarte told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Niwat Sirichok! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gonzalo Duarte! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Lou da Vinci and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duarte misses with a two punch combination.
Duarte should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Duarte throws a right and a left that Sirichok avoids nicely. Duarte shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Sloppy strikes from Duarte. Those never looked like landing. Sirichok is looking to clinch. Duarte swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Gonzalo Duarte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sirichok clinches with his opponent.
Sirichok swings wildly with an uppercut but Duarte uses good head movement to avoid it. A frustrated look appears on Duarte's face as he tries to break the clinch. Sirichok keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Duarte's efforts to push away. Sirichok lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Gonzalo Duarte has been cut. Sirichok prevents Duarte from breaking the clinch. Sirichok stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Duarte is trying to break the clinch but Sirichok is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sirichok slowing the pace effectively. Sirichok trying to land knees to the body.
Duarte pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Duarte thows a body shot but no joy. Sirichok fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Duarte, pushing him back against the cage. Sirichok avoiding damage as Duarte throws knees to the body.
Duarte takes an elbow to the temple. Duarte takes an elbow to the forehead.
That has opened up Gonzalo Duarte's cut even more. Duarte tries to break free but Sirichok pushes him back against the cage. Sirichok tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Duarte avoids it. Duarte trying to stall but Sirichok improves his position.
Sirichok lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Sirichok misses with a knee strike.
Sirichok's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Sirichok using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Duarte looks winded!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Duarte is trying to break free. Sirichok lands an elbow that stopped Duarte in his tracks for a moment.
Gonzalo Duarte's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Gonzalo Duarte's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Niwat Sirichok! Niwat Sirichok got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
