Hoffman doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Maija avoids a punch combination nicely.
Maija showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hoffman.
A looping hook to the body misses from Maija. Hoffman does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hoffman cracks Maija with an open hand slap.
Hoffman throws a series of punches but Maija moves out of range.
Hoffman lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Maija is rocked!
It looks like Taneli Maija has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hoffman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hoffman thuds a left hand into Maija's body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hoffman scores with a jab to the body.
Maija rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Hoffman to counter with a crisp jab.
Oh Maija is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A big right from Maija misses.
Maija misses the jab.
Maija seems to have got his legs back now.
Maija ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hoffman moves away.
Hoffman throws an overhand right that drops Maija like a sack of potatoes! Hoffman dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Hoffman!
Jack Hoffman spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
