Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, New Dalton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Erik Morris!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Sergei Dronov and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Dalton as Morris shoots in.
Morris will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Dalton takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The fighters circling - Dalton throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Morris lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Dalton tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Morris paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Morris works the jab nicely.
Morris is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
No joy there for Dalton, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Morris shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dalton pinned against the cage. Dalton gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Morris scores with a jab. Dalton acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Morris lands a jab.
Morris stalks Dalton and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dalton's face. Dalton staggers backwards, shaken.
Morris should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dalton throws a right and a left that both miss.

Morris throws a right hand that Dalton ducks under and follows up with a left that Dalton also avoids with ease.
Morris pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Morris blocks a jab.

Dalton drops Morris with a beautiful combination! Morris stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Dalton is looking for the KO!


It looks like Erik Morris has been cut.
Morris looks winded!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dalton fails to land with a series of punches.
Dalton throws a right and a left that Morris avoids nicely.

and Morris counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Morris.

Morris lands with a good body shot.

Morris bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

New Dalton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erik Morris.

Dalton tries to bum rush Morris with a series of wild strikes but Morris uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Morris is working an open guard so Dalton takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Morris lands a nice hook to Dalton's body. Dalton takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Morris scores with a jab. Dalton acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Dalton fails to land the takedown.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Dalton takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Morris jabs at Dalton's body.
Dalton looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Morris throws a series of strikes that have Dalton backpedaling.

Morris looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dalton is fending him off so far but Morris persists. Nope, Dalton circles away and we're back to standing.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dalton.
Dalton throws a series of punches but Morris moves out of range.
Morris fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dalton looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Dalton with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Morris to score with a decent uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dalton walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Dalton tries to clinch but Morris moves away
and Morris counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Morris lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Morris connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dalton's hands.
A jab from Morris does it's job there.

Morris rushes Dalton and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Morris pulls guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Morris wants to stand and escape but Dalton is having none of it.
Morris really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dalton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dalton throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Morris works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Morris can do anything to dispel that myth.

Morris is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that New Dalton will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Erik Morris's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Morris scores with a hook to the body. Dalton takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Morris finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Dalton is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Morris thows a body shot but no joy.
Dalton tries to close the distance and clinch but Morris swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Dalton in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Dalton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Morris not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Morris thuds a left hand into Dalton's body.

Morris will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Dalton walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Morris drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Dalton swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Morris's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). New Dalton!
Our winner, New Dalton, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
