Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Roene Dekker!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dekker moves into the clinch successfully.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Dekker takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Dekker is fighting off a takedown attempt but Natsi is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Dekker to the mat. Dekker regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Dekker pulls Natsi in to control the position.
Natsi wants to pass the guard but Dekker is keeping the position.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dekker holds on and takes a little breather.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Roene Dekker hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Natsi shoots in looking for a takedown but Dekker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Natsi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Natsi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dekker connects with a right hand. Natsi shakes it off.


It looks like Kuula Natsi has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dekker tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Natsi paws at him with a jab and circles away.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kuula Natsi. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Natsi tries to keep at a distance but Dekker has taken the fight into the clinch.
Dekker lands a hook to the side of the head.

Dekker lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Natsi backwards.

Natsi has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dekker is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Dekker lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Natsi backwards.
Oh Natsi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Dekker drops Natsi with a big right hand! Dekker charges in looking to finish - Natsi manages to keep Dekker in his guard and seems to have recovered somewhat.
Dekker looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Natsi seems to have got his legs back now.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Dekker advances to half guard.
Natsi is trying to control but can't.

Dekker moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Natsi.
Dekker takes a little break here. Natsi wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Natsi misses with an elbow from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Natsi tries to bench press Dekker off him but Dekker keeps the position.
Dekker wants to stand but Natsi has his arm trapped.
Dekker staying calm.
Natsi is looking for a sweep.
Dekker trying to control the action but Natsi is working from the bottom.
Dekker is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Natsi will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Dekker's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Roene Dekker was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Dekker connects with a looping right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dekker moves in looking to clinch but Natsi pushes him off.

Dekker darts in and clinches Natsi up against the cage.
Natsi is looking for a takedown.
Dekker lands with a right to the head.


Kuula Natsi's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Natsi wants a takedown.
Dekker scores with a shot to the side of Natsi's head.
Dekker is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Come on Dekker - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Dekker prevents the takedown attempt.
Natsi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dekker gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Dekker working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roene Dekker dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Kuula Natsi's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Dekker fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Natsi on the side of the head.
Dekker slaps away a takedown attempt from Natsi, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A head kick by Dekker - that's a beauty! Natsi is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Dekker can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Roene Dekker!
Roene Dekker decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
