Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mongolia Heed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Durst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heed comes to the cage accompanied by Gentlelman. Durst has chosen Hot Dog as his entrance music. Mongolia Heed has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Mongolia Heed! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fred Durst! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heed shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Durst sprawls well. Durst wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Heed gets slowly back to his feet. Durst throws the left hand but Heed avoids the punch easily. Heed uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Durst. Durst looks to throw the jab but Heed is out of range. Heed closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Heed lands in his opponent's guard. Durst working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Heed. Heed controls from within his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Heed with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Heed controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Heed loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Durst is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Heed looking to pass the guard. Durst can't keep his opponent in guard - Heed advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Durst is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Heed scores with a couple of nice shots. Heed looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Heed sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Durst defending well though. Durst is trying to stand up here but Heed is controlling him well. Heed thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Durst's head. Heed working over Durst with some ground and pound. Durst looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Durst blocking the ground and pound attempt from Heed. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Heed connects with a nice short shot to Durst's temple. Durst avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Heed. Durst wants to get back to his feet.
Well, if Heed is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Heed trying to control from half guard but Durst is working away. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Heed is really struggling to control Durst but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Mongolia Heed has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Durst throws a looping overhand right but Heed ducks down to avoid it. A telegraphed right hand from Durst misses the target. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Some wild striking there from Durst.
Fred Durst seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Durst misses with a few strikes there.

Heed dives in and grabs Durst's left leg, looking for a takedown. Durst pushes down on Heed's head and hops out. Heed gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Durst counters with a left and a right that stings Heed. Durst slaps away a takedown attempt from Heed, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mongolia Heed. That's going to take a lot out of him. Durst scores with a decent looking hook. A right-left combo lands from Durst.

Durst attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Heed looks for a takedown but Durst sprawls well. Durst feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Heeds jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Heed misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Heed showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Durst.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Durst moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. A big left from Durst misses. Durst throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Heed sees it coming and avoids it easily. Durst misses with a double jab.
Durst rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Heed moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Heed moves out of range as Durst strikes. Heed avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Heed shoots in looking for a takedown. Durst tries to sprawl out of it but Heed keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Durst manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Durst shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Heed pinned against the cage. Heed gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A combination from Durst does no damage. Durst lands with a straight right. Heed didn't see that one coming. Durst throws a series of punches but Heed moves out of range. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jab, jab by Durst - just one landing.
