Lott has his foot on Evance's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Evance works his way back into a safe position though.
Evance really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lott. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Evance must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Lott has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Evance is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lott.

Lott is looking to sinch up a triangle. Evance throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Lott's body to avoid the submission. Lott has instead reached around Evance's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Lott arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
