Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Koopa Troopa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Stonedberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Troopa's entrance music is Koopa Troopa. A fine choice. Michael Stonedberg will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Troopa throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Stonedberg tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Troopa is in Stonedberg's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Troopa passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Troopa lands with a hook. Stonedberg tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Troopa shoots in and drives through. Stonedberg sprawls well.

A solid leg kick lands there for Stonedberg.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Stonedberg enables Troopa to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Stonedberg manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Troopa isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Stonedberg stacks Troopa on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Stonedberg!

That was a close second round but I would say that Koopa Troopa will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
