Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cedric Maake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Morales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cedric Maake! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Juan Morales! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maake throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Morales sees it coming and avoids it easily. Morales bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Morales shoots for a double leg takedown but Maake sprawls well. He's pushed Morales's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Morales takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Morales gets a takedown into half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Morales missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Morales is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Morales not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Maake throws a series of punches but Morales moves out of range. Nice jab there from Maake. That's four minutes gone in the round. Maake on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Morales controls the position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Morales is working Maake over with some ground and pound from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The strikes coming from Morales are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
