Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verhoeven throws a head kick that half lands.
Coleman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Verhoeven swivels and escapes.
Verhoeven thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Coleman if he has to take too many more of those.
Coleman is looking to chop away at Verhoeven's legs.
Coleman has taken the fight to the clinch.
Verhoeven with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Coleman tries to pull guard but Verhoeven holds him up against the cage and eventually Coleman drops back down to his feet.
Coleman tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Coleman pulls guard effortlessly.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Verhoeven wants to stand but Coleman has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Coleman has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Verhoeven off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Verhoeven throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Coleman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Verhoeven.
Rico Verhoeven seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick from Verhoeven lands but Coleman takes it in his stride.
Coleman manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Verhoeven on his heels. He'll look to pass Verhoeven's guard now, I'm sure.
Coleman lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Verhoeven is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Coleman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Verhoeven's waist but Verhoeven gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Coleman off to one side.
Rico Verhoeven has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean Coleman.
Verhoeven is looking to clinch.

Coleman looks winded!
A decent looking cross lands there for Verhoeven.
Coleman circles away from the clinch attempt.
Coleman lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Rico Verhoeven has been cut.
Coleman scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Coleman seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Verhoeven is trying to stand up here but Coleman is controlling him well.
Coleman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Verhoeven keeps working.
Verhoeven pushes Coleman off looking to stand but Coleman dives back in and keeps control.
Coleman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Verhoeven with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Verhoeven is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Coleman scores with a couple of nice shots.
Verhoeven looks like he's trying to stand up.

Coleman lands with a punch from half guard.
Coleman is nestled in close to Verhoeven, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Coleman is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Coleman lands a nice short elbow.
Verhoeven is rocked!
Coleman looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Oh Verhoeven is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Coleman lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Verhoeven quite badly. Verhoeven pulls Coleman in close trying to recover. Coleman postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Verhoeven on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Verhoeven doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
