The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Edson Gomes and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reis fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like Serafim Do Pinto has been cut.
Do Pinto drops his hands momentarily and Reis takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Do Pinto moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Do Pinto looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Reis works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Reis throws a series of punches but Do Pinto avoids them all with ease.
No joy there for Reis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Reis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Do Pinto dodges the punch combination from Reis.
Reis drops Do Pinto with a beautiful combination! Do Pinto stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Reis is looking for the KO!

Reis scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Do Pinto defending well as Reis loads up on a big left hand.
Reis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Reis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Do Pinto manages to avoid it.

Reis closes the distance and lands a one-two.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Do Pinto looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Reis is fending him off so far but Do Pinto persists. Nope, Reis circles away and we're back to standing.
Reis swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Do Pinto.
Sloppy strikes from Reis. Those never looked like landing.

Baptista Reis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Do Pinto takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Reis moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
That has opened up Serafim Do Pinto's cut even more.
Do Pinto avoids a punch combination nicely.
Reis throws a series of punches but Do Pinto moves out of range.

Reis's corner calls for a 1-2. Reis obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Do Pinto's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Reis connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Do Pinto scrambles back to his feet.
Do Pinto is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Reis's half guard.
Do Pinto prevents Reis from improving his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Do Pinto takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
It looks like Do Pinto might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Reis on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Reis tries to get out of the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
OK we're going to have a standup here. Serafim Do Pinto hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Reis sizes up Do Pinto with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Reis is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Do Pinto with a lazy takedown attempt
and Reis counters with a straight right hand.
Baptista Reis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Serafim Do Pinto.
Reis scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Reis bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Do Pinto's head.
The cut above Serafim Do Pinto's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Do Pinto is breathing heavily.
Do Pinto throws a wild hook but Reis just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Do Pinto gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Reis raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Baptista Reis!
A relieved looking Baptista Reis thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
