Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kingsley Nasir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Sand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kingsley Nasir! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dave Sand! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sand tries to clinch up and Nasir counters with a nice leg kick. Nasir connects with a high kick. Sand shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Nasir counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Sand thinking. Sand throws a combination that misses and Nasir counters with a big head kick but Sand shrugs it off. Sand has his takedown stuffed and Nasir counters by moving into the clinch. Nasir manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Sand wants to get back to striking at distance but Nasir won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. A bit of stalling here from Nasir.
Sand is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Nasir stalling against the cage.
Sand tries to pull guard but Nasir won't allow it.
Kingsley Nasir has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Sand. Nasir prevents Sand from breaking the clinch. Sand is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Nasir to keep the fight standing. Sand trying to stall but Nasir improves his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nasir prevents a takedown attempt there.
Come on Nasir - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Nasir seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Sand is trying to break free. Nasir just leaning against Sand, taking a breather. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Kingsley Nasir. Excellent takedown into side control there by Nasir.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sand is being controlled here. Sand tries to bench press Nasir off him but Nasir keeps the position. Nasir is putting a hurting on Sand here, landing some big shots from side control. Sand seems a little lost for a moment, as Nasir dominates the positioning. Nasir grinds an elbow into Sand's temple. Nasir remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Sand tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sand is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Nasir has control of an arm but Sand manages to advance to Nasir's back! Nasir trying to get back to his feet but Sand is in full control for now. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nasir tries to escape the position.
Nasir trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kingsley Nasir dominated that round. That's time! Nasir's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Nasir clinches up against the cage. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Nasir as Sand tries to tie him up. Nasir lands a takedown into guard.
Sand is looking for a triangle here but Nasir uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Sand can't do much from the bottom here. Nasir will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nasir lands some shots froms side control. Nasir thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Sand wants to control but Nasir postures up. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sand trying to control but Nasir flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Nasir gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Nasir controlling from the back. Sand is covering up but some of the strikes from Nasir are getting through and doing damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Nasir lands punches and elbows. Sand is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Nasir.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sand trying to control the action but Nasir just sinks the hooks in. What can Sand do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nasir's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Sand covers up after that shot from Nasir.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Nasir is trying to stick to Sand's back but Sand is turning into Nasir. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Nasir's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Sand. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Sand loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Sand with a lazy takedown attempt and Nasir counters with a flying knee. Nice. An inside leg kick lands from Nasir. This has been an exciting period of action! Nasir rushes Sand and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. The referee calls for Nasir to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kingsley Nasir dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Nasir feints and then cracks Sand's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sand down. Sand has his takedown stuffed and Nasir counters by clinching up. Nasir is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Nasir has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Sand clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Kingsley Nasir overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Nasir really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Sand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nasir is landing with strikes. Sand can't take much more of this. Nasir is hanging on to Sand's back as he tries to escape.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Sand is in bad spot here.
Sand wants to get back to his feet. Dave Sand has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Sand trying to control the action but Nasir just sinks the hooks in. Nasir controlling the position well here. Sand rolled but Nasir kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Nasir has Sand flattened out and is raining down punches. Nasir lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Sand hold on?!
Nasir is not going to allow Sand to sit and survive in this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sand takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Nasir scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Sand is looking for a way out. Nasir is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Sand. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sand is trying to break free.
Nasir cracks Sand with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Sand from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
And that's the end of the fight! Kingsley Nasir showed his dominance in that final round. Well Nasir has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
