Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hannibal Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Krum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cage's entrance music is "Ain't No Rest For the Wicked" by Cage the Elephant. A fine choice. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hannibal Cage! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Viktor Krum! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krum forces Cage back against the cage and clinches. Krum pulls Cage into guard.
Cage avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Krum wants to hit a switch here but Cage passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Krum there! Cage knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Krum on the ground. Krum is trying desperately to improve position. Krum regains half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krum is looking for a sweep. Cage is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are battling for position here. Krum manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Krum is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Cage preventing the sweep. Krum controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krum lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Cage! Krum takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Poor strikes thrown by Krum there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Krum is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Cage to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Cage shrugs it off. Krum controlling from mount. Krum jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Cage manages to avoid the submission attempt. Cage is trying to escape the position but Krum is controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Krum tries to move to mount but Cage blocks the move with his legs. Krum controlling from side mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Viktor Krum dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Krum closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Krum lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Cage or not. A right handed body shot lands from Krum.
Krum tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Cage just stands there and leans against the cage. Krum lands with a light punch inside. Krum lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Krum softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Krum is working Cage over against the cage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Krum lands with a right to the head. Krum pushes Cage back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. A short body shot lands from Krum as the two fighters clinch.
Krum stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krum cracks Cage with a nice body shot. Krum pulls guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Krum is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Krum throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cage works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Krum advances to half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Still in half guard, Krum seems content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Krum lands a nice short elbow. Krum not doing much here.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Viktor Krum hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Cage throws an off balance right hand
and Krum holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Krum lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Krum pushes Cage back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. A short left from Krum. Cage tries to circle away but Krum has him pinned against the cage. A nice right hand lands inside from Krum.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Krum scores with a shoulder strike. A body shot lands from Krum.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Krum scores with a shot to the side of Cage's head. Krum leaning his opponent against the cage. Krum lands a shoulder strike.
Cage is rocked! Krum unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Cage! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Krum is unloading with more strikes now! Cage drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Viktor Krum!
