Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Andy Loow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Billie Ray Jorgensin!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jorgensin doesn't manage to clinch there - Loow circles away.
Loow checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Jorgensin rushes Loow and presses him up against the cage.
Jorgensin gets through Loow's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Jorgensin throws a knee to the head but misses.
Jorgensin is trying to maintain a safe position but Loow gets an underhook and turns Jorgensin into the cage.
Jorgensin throws an elbow that misses.
Jorgensin is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Jorgensin with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Jorgensin throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Loow blocks it with crossed arms.
Jorgensin tries to land knees in the clinch but Loow avoids the damage to the body.
Loow is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jorgensin lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Jorgensin connects with a knee to the head.
Loow working hard to break the clinch.
Loow wants the takedown. Jorgensin is fighting it off but Loow persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Jorgensin's guard against the cage.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Loow won't allow Jorgensin to get back to his feet.

Loow throws a big right hand that misses.
Jorgensin wants to stand but Loow is controlling the position.
Jorgensin looks winded!
Loow working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Loow trying to control but Jorgensin is working from the bottom.
Loow looking to sit in guard and control but Jorgensin gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Loow is striking but Jorgensin is not phased and passes to half guard.

Jorgensin throwing shots but Loow is blocking nicely.
Loow is looking for a sweep. Jorgensin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jorgensin connects with a nice short shot to Loow's temple.
Loow wants to get back to his feet.
Loow manages to get to full guard.
Jorgensin scoring with punches to the head and body.
Loow will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jorgensin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Loow scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Loow throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jorgensin instigates a clinch.
Loow changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jorgensin fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Jorgensin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Loow swivels and escapes.
Jorgensin clinches up with Loow and pushes him back against the cage.
Loow has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jorgensin uses from the top position.
Jorgensin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Jorgensin stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Loow has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Jorgensin manages to get his head free but now Loow has transitioned to an armbar! Jorgensin grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Loow! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
