Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montinitez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bertos's waist but Bertos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Montinitez off to one side.
Montinitez gets caught flat footed, as Bertos shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Montinitez is trying to control the position but Bertos postures up.

Montinitez fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bertos looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Bertos counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Montinitez!

Bertos has hold of Montinitez's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Montinitez manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Bertos has control of Montinitez's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Montinitez regains control of the situation pretty easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Bertos had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Montinitez is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bertos Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Montinitez's back instead.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Bertos's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
