Pierce comes to the cage accompanied by Eve 6 - Inside Out. Damon Pierce had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierce moves into the clinch successfully.

Pierce drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Faure gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Faure is trying to push Pierce away but Pierce has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Pierce wants to take the fight to the mat but Faure manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Pierce is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Faure postures up in Pierce's guard and throws a big left but Pierce blocks it.
Faure drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pierce manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Faure has Pierce in his guard.
Faure wants to sweep here but Pierce controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pierce postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pierce is pushing down on Faure's leg trying to pass to half guard. Faure is fighting to maintain full guard but Pierce has managed to sneak the leg through.

Pierce is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Faure is just riding it out for now. Pierce eventually gives up the hold.

Pierce stalling away here and it's allowed Faure to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Faure can't keep his opponent in guard - Pierce advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pierce is looking to work some ground and pound but Faure has wrist control.
Pierce got a little sloppy there for a moment and Faure has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pierce has managed to get both his arms back between Faure's legs - danger averted.
Pierce passes into half guard.

Pierce frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Pierce connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Faure is working to get back to half guard.
Pierce is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Pierce lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Faure is rocked!

Faure takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Pierce's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
