Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vasiliy Sobolev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thad Backer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sobolev comes into the arena with Ya kuplu tebe dom blaring out of the sound system. Backer has chosen Hell Yeah as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Thad Backer was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sobolev doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Backer holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Sobolev drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Backer gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Backer fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Sobolev has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Backer is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vasiliy Sobolev. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sobolev wants to take the fight to the mat but Backer manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Sobolev is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Backer is defending well.
