Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kahlua Zordick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yamapi Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chan has chosen Ikenai Tayou as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kahlua Zordick! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yamapi Chan! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zordick throws a hook but Chan blocks it. Zordick shoots in looking for a takedown. Chan tries to sprawl out of it but Zordick keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Zordick changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chan tries to avoid it but Zordick manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chan to the ground. Chan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A slow jab from Zordick misses its intended target. Excellent takedown into side control there by Zordick. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Chan tries to buck Zordick off but Zordick is having none of it. Zordick wants to control but Chan is keeping him busy. Zordick thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Zordick working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Zordick tries to advance to mount but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chan manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Zordick blocking the ground and pound attempt from Chan. Chan missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Zordick tries to roll over but Chan keeps him under control. Chan throws a strike but Zordick avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Zordick looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Chan tries to free his leg and advance position but Zordick is retaining full guard. Zordick is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Chan lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Zordick has his foot on Chan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chan works his way back into a safe position though. Chan throwing strikes but missing. Chan slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chan is looking to take a break and control but Zordick is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Chan scoring with punches from side control. Zordick is trying to improve his position. Chan landing strikes. Chan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Zordick tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chan cracks Zordick with a big right hand but Zordick just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Chan gets to mount! Zordick was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Zordick is looking to improve his position but Chan isn't that keen on the idea. Zordick tries to hold on but Chan postures up. Zordick tries to control Chan's body but Chan pushes him off. Zordick squirms to his side and now Chan has his back! Chan sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Zordick taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Yamapi Chan! Yamapi Chan retains his lightweight title!
