Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Boxing Sparbot One (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frederic Bastiat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sparbot One kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dirt - Six. The crowd seem to be enjoying Bastiat's choice of entrance music: Superstition. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Frederic Bastiat enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparbot One throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Sparbot One scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bastiat takes one on the button.

Bastiat throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sparbot One tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bastiat is in Sparbot One's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bastiat drops back looking for a leg! Sparbot One is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sparbot One manages to kick Bastiat off! Bastiat jumps back into Sparbot One's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Boxing Sparbot One will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Sparbot One moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Bastiat shoots in and drives through. Sparbot One sprawls well.
Sparbot One bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bastiat.
Sparbot One thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Bastiat if he has to take too many more of those.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boxing Sparbot One has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frederic Bastiat.
Bastiat sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Bastiat takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Frederic Bastiat has been cut.
Bastiat takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

A thudding body kick lands there by Sparbot One!
Bastiat is still on wobbly legs! Can Sparbot One finish him?
Bastiat walks into a jab.
Bastiat walks straight into a right hand from Sparbot One - that's dropped him! Sparbot One jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Bastiat from any more punishment! Bastiat complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
