Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Boogie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Oliver Miller!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pat Boogie!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller is looking to chop away at Boogie's legs.

Boogie gets a takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Miller is trying to escape back to his feet but Boogie uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Boogie sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Miller is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Boogie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Miller has escaped the position, nice work there.
Boogie postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Boogie creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Miller sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Miller pushes Boogie away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Boogie gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Miller has had enough of the clinch but Boogie keeps him there for the moment.

Boogie shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Miller sprawls well. Miller wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Boogie gets slowly back to his feet.

Boogie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Miller sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Boogie somewhat.

Miller wants to get back to his feet but Boogie is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Boogie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Miller swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Miller tries to kick Boogie off in order to stand up. Boogie Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Boogie decides to stand back up. Boogie steps back and let's Miller get back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Miller changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Boogie tries to avoid it but Miller manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Boogie to the ground. Boogie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Miller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Boogie tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Miller paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Miller dodges the punch combination from Boogie.
Boogie goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Miller avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Boogie looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Boogie uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Miller.
Boogie swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Boogie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Miller defends it nicely.
Nice takedown defense from Miller. No joy for Boogie on that attempt.

Boogie fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Miller to the ground. Boogie is now in Miller's guard.

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.

Well Boogie has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
