And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to clinch but Ellis moves away

and Ellis counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Silva is looking to escape.
Silva throws a strike from the bottom but Ellis passes into side control!

Ellis decides to stand back up.
Ellis takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ellis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Silva sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ellis somewhat.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Silva tries to clinch up but Ellis circles away and keeps his distance.

Silva lands a big head kick that sends Ellis tumbling to the mat! Silva takes a step backwards and waves Ellis back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Ellis is rocked!

It looks like Ashton Ellis has been cut.
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Ellis tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ellis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Oh Ellis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silva connects with a stiff jab that staggers Ellis - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
