Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Minimum Power!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, El Boomer!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boomer scores a takedown into full mount!
Boomer controlling the position easily from mount.
Power really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Power sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Boomer looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Boomer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Power keeps working.
Power is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Boomer wants to control but Power is keeping him busy.
Boomer scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boomer tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Boomer is controlling the pace.
Power is trying to maintain the position but Boomer is very close to passing his half guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Power displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Power connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Boomer's hands.
Power misses with a takedown attempt
and Boomer decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Power's guard.

Power has his foot on Boomer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Boomer works his way back into a safe position though.

Boomer keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Power's head.
Boomer throws a big right hand that misses.
Boomer is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Boomer looks gassed!
Power wants to sweep but no luck.
Power has his foot on Boomer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Boomer works his way back into a safe position though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Power doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Power utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Boomer sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Power has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Boomer doesn't defend quickly enough and Power has managed to lock this one up! Can Boomer escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Power on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Minimum Power!
