Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Francisco Gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Owen Salcedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzales drives through and clinches with Salcedo against the cage.
Gonzales pulls Salcedo into guard.
Gonzales looking for a guillotine here but Salcedo defends easily.
Salcedo throws an elbow that misses. Gonzales uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Salcedo's guard. Nice move by Gonzales!
Gonzales gets to his feet - Salcedo follows without any prompting.
Salcedo throws a right hand that Gonzales ducks under and follows up with a left that Gonzales also avoids with ease.

Salcedo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gonzales sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Salcedo somewhat.

Salcedo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gonzales. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gonzales uses his free foot to push down on Salcedo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Salcedo.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gonzales is landing with some decent strikes but Salcedo is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
