Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Derek Riggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Atlas Kivi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kivi's choice of entrance music: Metallica - Ride the Lightning. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kivi shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Riggs is trying to defend but Kivi finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Kivi is working for a kimura here but Riggs manages to reverse the position and he's now in Kivi's guard.
Riggs is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Riggs postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Riggs keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kivi's head.
Kivi looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Riggs is defending well. Kivi quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Riggs has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Kivi celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
