Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Monty Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh Jass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hugh Jass is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hugh Jass!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jass shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ali as he jumps to the side.
Jass changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ali tries to avoid it but Jass manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ali to the ground. Ali escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jass drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Ali wants to stand but Jass is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jass is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Jass prevents Ali from getting back to his feet.
Jass pushes down on Ali's leg and manages to get into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Jass is trying for a kimura here. Ali looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Jass wins by kimura!
