Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Michak Ropuia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ropuia's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Here comes the pain - Slayer. Michak Ropuia has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Stevens lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ropuia doesn't seem phased though.
Stevens connects with a body shot.
Stevens misses with a series of wild punches.
Stevens throws a hook to the side of Ropuia's head but Ropuia sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Stevens smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Stevens lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Stevens moves into range and connects with a jab.
Stevens wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ropuia gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Ropuia throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stevens's waist but Stevens gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ropuia off to one side.
The fighters circle momentarily. Stevens darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Ropuia. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Stevens fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Ropuia shoots for a double leg takedown but Stevens sprawls well. He's pushed Ropuia's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Ropuia feints and as Stevens raises his hands in defense, Ropuia changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Stevens really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ropuia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ropuia is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Stevens has his hands clasped together but Ropuia extends an breaks Stevens's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Ropuia.
