Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Asa Sharp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emunn Samvesu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sharp's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Stronger. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Asa Sharp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Emunn Samvesu!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharp misses with a double jab.
Samvesu feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Samvesu throws a big right hand that misses.
Samvesu wants to control from the top but Sharp keeps moving.
Samvesu wants to pass the guard but Sharp is keeping the position.
Sharp wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Samvesu trying to control the position from guard on top but Sharp is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sharp wants to stand up but Samvesu is controlling him.
Samvesu missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Samvesu is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Sharp is looking for a triangle here but Samvesu uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sharp is trying to improve his position.
Samvesu wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sharp, who protects the arm well.
Samvesu tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Samvesu has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Samvesu tries to move to mount but Sharp blocks the move with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Samvesu working away.
Sharp tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Samvesu tries for a kimura but Sharp is defending well.
Samvesu has hold of Sharp's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Sharp tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Samvesu cranks the arm and Sharp screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Sharp, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Emunn Samvesu!
