Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gim Ruut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrzej Gajewski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ruut might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Jesus Christ Pose - Soundgarden. Gajewski is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Stratosphere. Andrzej Gajewski is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gim Ruut! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andrzej Gajewski! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Ivan Kurochkin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ruut swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Gajewski throws a nice outside leg kick. Gajewski throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Ruut shoots in looking for a takedown. Gajewski tries to sprawl out of it but Ruut keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gajewski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Gajewski misses with a kick to the body.
Ruut changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gajewski tries to avoid it but Ruut manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gajewski to the ground. Gajewski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ruut blocks a low kick nicely. Ruut misses with a takedown and Gajewski counters with a straight right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gim Ruut. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gajewski thumps Ruut with a low kick. Nice jab there from Ruut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gajewski feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gajewski is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Gajewski avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Gajewski showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Gajewski must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Gajewski's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Andrzej Gajewski hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Gajewski thows a body shot but no joy. Ruut misses with a looping right.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ruut has his takedown stuffed and Gajewski counters with a two punch combo. Ruut misses with a looping left. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ruut takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Ruut tries to clinch but Gajewski is having none of it. Ruut takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. A cross from Gajewski lands. Ruut misses the body punch and Gajewski counters by clinching up. Ruut tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gajewski smiles and moves away.
Ruut moves out of range as Gajewski throws a body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ruut misses with a takedown attempt and Gajewski counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Gajewski. Ruut jumps guard but Gajewski stands there with Ruut around his waist. Ruut gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Gajewski lands a shoulder strike. Gajewski breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gajewski with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Ruut keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gim Ruut seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ruut with a jab. Gajewski fails with an attempt to clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ruut. Gajewski does a little dance to reset his feet. Ruut pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ruut throws a left and a right that both miss
and Gajewski counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Gajewski. Ruut has Gajewski pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Gajewski manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Ruut drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Gajewski gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Gajewski pushes Ruut back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Gajewski lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ruut backwards. Gajewski misses with a hook to the ribs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gajewski prevents a takedown attempt there.
Gajewski wants to break the clinch but can't.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gajewski tries to throw a body punch but Ruut avoids it by throwing Gajewski back against the cage. Gajewski swings wildly with an uppercut but Ruut uses good head movement to avoid it. Gajewski throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Ruuts head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrzej Gajewski dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Nice takedown defense from Gajewski. No joy for Ruut on that attempt. Gajewski with a body punch. A glancing blow. Ruut ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A left lands for Gajewski.
Ruut is rocked!
It looks like Gim Ruut has been cut. Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Gajewski engages and cracks Ruut with a massive lead left hook - Ruut tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Gajewski is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Andrzej Gajewski! Andrzej Gajewski retains his bantamweight title! Andrzej Gajewski took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'No conquering for you this time, Gim. Thanks for the fight.'.
