Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Morten Joikhaaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magnus Schilk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Magnus Schilk will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Morten Joikhaaja! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Magnus Schilk! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schilk looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Schilk swings away with a leg kick that misses. Schilk tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Joikhaaja bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Joikhaaja passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Schilk! Schilk tries to get back to half guard but can't. Schilk avoids a series of strikes thrown by Joikhaaja.
Joikhaaja landing strikes from the mount. Joikhaaja lands a heavy elbow. Joikhaaja is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Schilk can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Joikhaaja has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Poor strikes thrown by Joikhaaja there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Schilk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Joikhaaja. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A nice elbow there by Joikhaaja. Joikhaaja in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Joikhaaja takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joikhaaja has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Schilk's face.

Joikhaaja could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Schilk wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Joikhaaja.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Joikhaaja lands a big shot there that rocks Schilk but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Schilk tries to hold on but Joikhaaja postures up. Joikhaaja lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Joikhaaja lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Joikhaaja pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Joikhaaja scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Schilk?

Morten Joikhaaja dominated that round. That's time! Joikhaaja's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Joikhaaja fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Schilk scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Magnus Schilk is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Joikhaaja drives through with a takedown into Schilk's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Joikhaaja distracts Schilk with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Joikhaaja is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Joikhaaja loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Schilk avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Joikhaaja controls from within his opponent's guard. Joikhaaja trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joikhaaja looking to pass the guard. Joikhaaja throwing strikes but missing. Joikhaaja controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Morten Joikhaaja. Schilk swinging wildly here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Joikhaaja shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Schilk as he jumps to the side. Schilk is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Morten Joikhaaja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Joikhaaja tries for a takedown but Schilk sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Morten Joikhaaja. That's going to take a lot out of him. Joikhaaja takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Schilk keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Schilk lands with a nice body kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Whack! Schilk lands a heavy head kick that drops Joikhaaja. The ref tackles Schilk to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Joikhaaja was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Magnus Schilk!
