Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
30 - 21 - 0, fighting out of London, Pat Sumrall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sephiroth Cooper! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cooper takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. No luck for Cooper with that takedown attempt. Cooper tries a head kick but it misses.
Sumrall wants to clinch up but Cooper keeps it at a distance. Sumrall throws a body punch but Cooper moves out of range. Sumrall throws a leg kick but Cooper sees it coming and moves out of range. No luck for Cooper with that takedown attempt. Sumrall throws a nice inside leg kick. The fight stays on the outside here - Sumrall looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Pat Sumrall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sumrall tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cooper paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sumrall swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Sumrall swings widly with a right hand
and Cooper counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Cooper wants to take the fight to the mat but Sumrall manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Pat Sumrall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sephiroth Cooper. Cooper blocks an elbow strike from Sumrall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sumrall throws an elbow but it misses.

Sumrall lands a nice elbow. Sumrall tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Sumrall with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Cooper is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Sumrall landing knees to the body.
Cooper blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Nice body punch from Sumrall. With the fighters up against the cage, Sumrall throws an elbow but misses. Cooper on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Sumrall lands a nice elbow. Cooper blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Cooper is trying to pull guard but Sumrall has him pressed against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cooper is looking to take this one to the mat. Sumrall fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sumrall creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Sumrall lands a nice elbow. Sumrall can't find room to land a body shot as Cooper controls the action.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Sumrall. Sumrall pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Knees to the body from Sumrall.
Sumrall working some nice short punches in the clinch. Sumrall lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Cooper goes for a takedown in the clinch but Sumrall prevents it.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sumrall swings wildly with an uppercut but Cooper uses good head movement to avoid it. Sumrall unloads a knee to the mid-section. A shot in the inside from Sumrall. Sumrall landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Cooper blocks the elbow strike.
Sumrall lands a right hand that snaps the head of Cooper backwards. Cooper tries to pull guard but Sumrall holds him up against the cage and eventually Cooper drops back down to his feet.
Cooper wants to take the fight to the mat but Sumrall manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Sumrall misses with an elbow over the top. Sumrall lands a nice knee to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cooper takes an elbow to the temple. Cooper dodges an elbow strike from Sumrall.
Sumrall is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sumrall comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Knees in the clinch landing for Sumrall.
Sumrall throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Sumrall gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Nice elbow from Sumrall. Sumrall lands an elbow just above Cooper 's eye. Sumrall comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Cooper is trying to pull guard but Sumrall turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Sumrall is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Cooper is defending well for now. Sumrall unloads a knee to the mid-section. Cooper lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pat Sumrall dominated that round. That's time! Sumrall's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Cooper takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Sumrall rushes Cooper and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Sumrall trying to land knees to the body.
Pat Sumrall has scored more points in the clinch so far. Sumrall misses with an elbow over the top. Cooper blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Sumrall lands with a right to the head. Cooper decides to pull guard. Sumrall trying to stand up but can't free himself from Cooper's guard. Sumrall trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cooper is looking to sinch up a triangle. Sumrall throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Cooper's body to avoid the submission. Cooper has instead reached around Sumrall's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Cooper arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Sephiroth Cooper! Sephiroth Cooper very nearly forgot to thank Wolfpack Blood Labs Q158-Q155 amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
