The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
KillsInWater connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Ferreira dodges the punch combination from KillsInWater.
Ferreira ducks straight into an uppercut from KillsInWater and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Ferreira maanges to regain guard straight away.
Ferreira is rocked!
It looks like Ricardo Ferreira has been cut.
Ferreira tries to land a sweep but no joy.
KillsInWater is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
KillsInWater trying to control the position from guard on top but Ferreira is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ferreira is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ferreira is looking for a triangle but KillsInWater pushes his legs off easily.
Ferreira looking to hit a scissor sweep but KillsInWater is one step ahead there.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
KillsInWater connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Ricardo Ferreira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

KillsInWater dances in with a quick combination. Ferreira is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from KillsInWater snaps Ferreira's head back. Ferreira stumbles backwards against the cage. KillsInWater steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Ferreira's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Ferreira just didn't come prepared.
