Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Spar Box (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akira Hayabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hayabusa has chosen Bombs Away as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Spar Box could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Akira Hayabusa's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 12 - 1, fighting out of London, Spar Box! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Akira Hayabusa! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Box doesn't manage to clinch there - Hayabusa circles away.
Hayabusa is trying hard to land a takedown here. Box sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Box wants to clinch and Hayabusa counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Hayabusa gets a clinch. Hayabusa trying to control the position but instead, Box has worked for underhooks and has pushed Hayabusa into the cage. Box working Hayabusa over with knees to the body. Hayabusa tries to score a body lock takedown but Box shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Box scores with a shot to the side of Hayabusa's head. Hayabusa breaks from the clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position. Hayabusa is trying to break the clinch but Box has him pressed against the cage. Hayabusa misses with a body punch.

That's going to take a lot out of Akira Hayabusa. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hayabusa is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Box. Hayabusa closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Box lands a right hand that snaps the head of Hayabusa backwards. Hayabusa prevents a body shot from Box. Box connects with a nasty looking knee right to Hayabusa's face.

Box tries to work over Hayabusa's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Box unloads a knee to the mid-section. Hayabusa lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Box misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Hayabusa.

Spar Box is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Box tries to clinch but fails miserably and Hayabusa counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Hayabusa lands with an uppercut that bounces Box off the cage and back into range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hayabusa swats away the attempt to clinch by Box. Box tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hayabusa paws at him with a jab and circles away. Box is looking to clinch but Hayabusa is avoiding it.
Hayabusa shoots in and drives through. Box sprawls well. Box tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hayabusa paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hayabusa cracks Box with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Hayabusa moves into the clinch successfully.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Box fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hayabusa gets tackled into the cage by Box. Box maintains the clinch. Box lands with a light punch inside. Hayabusa blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Box with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Spar Box dominated that round. The cut man is working on Akira Hayabusa's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Spar Box! Spar Box decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
