Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Cote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luiz Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Patrick Cote!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Silva throws a shot to the body.
Cote takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Cote throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily.
Cote changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Cote manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cote fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Silva sizes up Cote with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Silva cracks Cote with a good jab.
Cote will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Luiz Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrick Cote.
Cote wants to clinch up but Silva keeps it at a distance.
Silva pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Cote back to the cage. Silva follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Patrick Cote has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Silva scores with a nice right hand.
Cote changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Cote manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cote takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Patrick Cote seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cote wants to clinch up but Silva keeps it at a distance.
Cote closes this distance looking for a takedown but Silva circles away.
Cote throws a right hand that Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Silva also avoids with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva works the jab nicely.
Cote dives in and grabs Silva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes down on Cote's head and hops out.
Cote looks winded!
Cote on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Silva connects with a body shot that sends Cote's belly button to the back.
Silva bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Cote is rocked!
Silva drops Cote with a straight right hand, right on the button! Silva follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luiz Silva!
After winning the bout, Luiz Silva thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
