Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jose Cronos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clyde Irving (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cronos comes to the cage accompanied by Bad Habits. Irving has chosen Here to Show the World as his entrance music. Clyde Irving has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jose Cronos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Clyde Irving!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Irving moves out of range as Cronos strikes.
Irving fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cronos manages to avoid it.
Irving doesn't manage to clinch there - Cronos circles away.
Irving rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cronos moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Irving lands with a cross.
Irving throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Cronos scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Cronos will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Cronos moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Cronos is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Irving looks calm but he's in trouble here. Cronos gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Irving is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Cronos lets go of the hold and Irving can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jose Cronos!
After the fight, Jose Cronos was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
