Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Martinsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ong Bak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bak comes into a darkened arena with his song building. you've lost that loving feeling kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fedor Martinsson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ong Bak! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martinsson shoots for a double leg takedown but Bak sprawls well. He's pushed Martinsson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bak closes the distance but Martinsson moves to the side and Martinsson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Bak gets caught napping as Martinsson dives in and scores a takedown. Bak manages to retain guard. Bak is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Bak is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Bak is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Martinsson passes Bak's left leg - he's now in half guard. Martinsson sitting and controlling from the half guard. Martinsson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martinsson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Bak really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Martinsson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bak is doing well to control the position and prevent Martinsson from advancing to side control. Martinsson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Bak pushes Martinsson off looking to stand but Martinsson dives back in and keeps control.

Martinsson eventually gives up the hold. Martinsson content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Martinsson is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bak has managed to free his arm - good work. Martinsson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bak knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bak keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Martinsson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Martinsson controlling the pace. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Martinsson tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Bak. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Martinsson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Martinsson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Martinsson trying to control the position from guard on top but Bak is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bak tries to clinch up and Martinsson counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Martinsson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bak pulls him back up using the underhooks. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Bak obliges. Bak lands an elbow inside that Martinsson shrugs off. Martinsson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. The fight moves into the clinch position. Martinsson avoids the elbow strike from Bak, against the ropes.
Bak looks to throw an elbow but misses. Martinsson dodges an elbow strike from Bak.
Martinsson has clasped his hands together around Bak's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Martinsson wants to control but Bak is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Martinsson looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Bak is avoiding damage well.
Martinsson stands up and we're back to a striking position. Bak tries to keep at a distance but Martinsson has taken the fight into the clinch. Martinsson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Martinsson shoots for a takedown but Bak saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fedor Martinsson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bak tries to clinch up. Martinsson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bak's waist but Bak gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Martinsson off to one side. Bak is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Bak wants to clinch but Martinsson slips to the side and Martinsson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bak's guard now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Martinsson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bak wants to clinch and Martinsson counters with a takedown into side control. Bak has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Martinsson stops Bak from standing up. Bak pulls Martinsson in close to his closed guard and prevents Martinsson from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bak can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Martinsson controls the pace. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Martinsson looking to pass the guard.

Martinsson passes Bak's left leg - he's now in half guard. Martinsson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Martinsson has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bak is squirming around, avoiding Martinsson's attempts to control the action.
And that's the end of the fight! Fedor Martinsson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Martinsson, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
