A fine choice. Jonas Sakalas is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakalas fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Sakalas scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Urgant keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Sakalas thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Urgant's head.
Urgant tries to kick Sakalas off but Sakalas keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Sakalas landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Urgant manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Sakalas looks for a takedown but Urgant sprawls well.
Sakalas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Urgant as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jonas Sakalas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sakalas shoots in looking for a takedown. Urgant tries to sprawl out of it but Sakalas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Urgant manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Urgant tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Urgant wants to slow Sakalas down by chopping away at his legs.
Jonas Sakalas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sakalas shoots in but no luck this time.
Urgant lands a jab.
Urgant moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Urgant pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Urgant lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Urgant throws a head kick that Sakalas semi-blocks.
Sakalas shoots in and drives through. Urgant sprawls well.
Urgant throws a sloppy head kick and Sakalas moves out of range easily.
Sakalas takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Urgant weaves into range and cracks Sakalas right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Sakalas goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Urgant is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
