The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muerte keeps the fight on the outside.
Wha rushes Muerte and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Muerte jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wha walks away with a smile on his face. Muerte gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Wha has taken the fight to the clinch.
Muerte drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Wha manages to break the clinch.
Wha misses with a series of wild punches.

It looks like Thiago Muerte has been cut.
Wha waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Muerte. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Muerte to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wha got a little sloppy there for a moment and Muerte has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wha has managed to get both his arms back between Muerte's legs - danger averted.
Muerte looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Wha is posturing up here but Muerte has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Wha tries to roll out but it's too tight and Wha has to tap! Slick submission there by Muerte!
