Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Burt Bedlan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jt Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Burt Bedlan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jt Austin! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Steve Montenegro and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bedlan misses with a head kick.
Bedlan looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Bedlan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Austin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bedlan tries to clinch there but Austin circles away.
Austin drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Bedlan tries to strike from the bottom.
Bedlan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bedlan tries to get out of the position. Austin trying to control the position from guard on top but Bedlan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Austin is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Austin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Austin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bedlan tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bedlan is working an open guard so Austin takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Bedlan tries to clinch up but Austin circles away and keeps his distance. Austin keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Jt Austin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Austin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Bedlan shoots for a double leg takedown but Austin sprawls well. He's pushed Bedlan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Austin drives through with a takedown into guard. Austin stopping the sweep attempt from Bedlan. Austin passes easily into side control. Nice work. Austin trying to control the position but Bedlan is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Austin advances to full mount. Austin avoids the attempt from Bedlan to control. Bedlan is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Bedlan is bucking up trying to escape but Austin cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Austin swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bedlan is now in Austin's guard. A big mistake from Austin there, giving up the dominant position! Bedlan drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Austin dives on top into guard. Austin slips nicely into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Austin passes to side control. Bedlan is working to avoid the ground and pound but Austin connects with a decent elbow. Bedlan can't do much from the bottom here. Austin goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bedlan rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Austin's guard! Nice work there by Bedlan! Austin throws a couple of heel strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bedlan prevents Austin from getting back to his feet. Austin is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bedlan trying to control but Austin is working from the bottom. Bedlan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Austin is proving hard to escape from.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Austin bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bedlan's head. Austin tries for a takedown but Bedlan circles away easily and Bedlan counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bedlan. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bedlan trying to control the position from guard on top but Austin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Austin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jt Austin dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Bedlan displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Austin throws out the jab. Burt Bedlan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Austin shoots in and drives through. Bedlan sprawls well. Austin tries to keep at a distance but Bedlan has taken the fight into the clinch. Austin wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Austin is trying to break the clinch but Bedlan has him pressed against the cage. Bedlan scores with a shoulder strike. Austin manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Austin breaks the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Austin wants to clinch but Bedlan slips to the side and Bedlan counters with a head kick. Bedlan fails with a takedown attempt. Austin has managed to clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Austin is trying to maintain a safe position but Bedlan gets an underhook and turns Austin into the cage. Bedlan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
No luck for Austin with that takedown attempt. Bedlan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Austin throws a wild body kick that Bedlan sees coming a mile off. Austin looks to land a combination but Bedlan avoids it well. Bedlan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bedlan lands in his opponent's guard. Austin trying to strike off his back.
Bedlan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Austin doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Austin is on top in guard.
Austin trying to control the position from guard on top but Bedlan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Austin postures up in Bedlan's guard and throws a big left but Bedlan blocks it. Austin stands up over Bedlan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Austin's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Austin wants to control from the top but Bedlan keeps moving. Austin stands and steps away. Bedlan gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Bedlan has closed the distance and engaged Austin in a clinch.
Austin tries to pull guard but Bedlan holds him up against the cage and eventually Austin drops back down to his feet.
Burt Bedlan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jt Austin. Bedlan stops a takedown attempt from Austin.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Austin lands with a right to the head. Austin fails to pull guard.
Austin is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Austin pulls guard effortlessly. Bedlan trying to control the position from guard on top but Austin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Austin striking off his back, scoring a few points. Austin is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Bedlan breaks from the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Austin stands up and beckons Bedlan to his feet. Austin shoots and misses and Bedlan counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bedlan. Bedlan takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Austin closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Austin has a couple of punches blocked by Bedlan.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Bedlan prevents Austin from breaking the clinch. Bedlan jumps into guard, dragging Austin to the mat.
Bedlan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Austin on the ground. Austin trying to control but Bedlan is working from the bottom. Austin makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jt Austin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Bedlan fails with the takedown and Austin counters with a left and a right that stings Bedlan. Austin shoots for a takedown but Bedlan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Austin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bedlan throws a right and a left that Austin avoids nicely. Austin clinches with his opponent.
Austin is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Austin wants to get back to striking at distance but Bedlan won't allow it.
Bedlan drops down looking for an ankle pick but Austin pulls his leg out and moves away.
Austin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Austin showed some decent athleticism there. Bedlan wants to get back to full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Austin perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Austin is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Bedlan is looking for a sweep. Austin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Austin lands with a punch from half guard. Austin content to control rather than advance. Austin is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Well, if Austin is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Austin is looking to take a break and control but Bedlan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Austin drops an elbow to the side of Bedlan's head. Austin is figuring out what he wants to do next. Austin scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Austin trying to control the action but Bedlan is working from the bottom. Austin works his way into full mount! Austin looking to control but Bedlan is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Austin in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Austin lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Bedlan is in a horrible position here. Austin smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

And that's the end of the fight! Jt Austin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Austin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
