Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Carrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Allen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Carrey! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carrey shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Carrey thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Allen's head. Carrey not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Carrey scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Carrey seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Allen is trying to stand back up but Carrey is controlling him
Carrey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Allen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Carrey trying to pass the guard but Allen defending well. Carrey is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Carrey throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The fight moves into the clinch position. Carrey goes for a takedown in the clinch but Allen prevents it.
Allen looking for a takedown. Carrey has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Allen avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Allen manages to break the clinch.
Carrey shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Allen's guard. Carrey stays in close to Allen's body and controls the position. Carrey is fighting to break Allen's control of his arms but Allen is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Allen keeping moving, preventing Carrey from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Allen is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Allen working for a triangle but Carrey defends it easily.
Allen is breathing heavily. Carrey trying to control but Allen is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carrey wants to get up but he can't break Allen's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Carrey drives through and clinches with Allen against the cage.
Allen pushes off an throws an elbow but Carrey leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Allen wants to break the clinch but can't.
Allen is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Carrey gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Allen is trying to break the clinch but Carrey has him pressed against the cage. Carrey tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Allen just stands there and leans against the cage. Marcus Allen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Carrey. Carrey manages to pull guard.
Carrey is controlling Allen's posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Allen trying to control but Carrey is working from the bottom. Allen stays in close to Carrey's body and controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Allen tries to stand but Carrey is controlling from the bottom. Carrey controls Allen momentarily but Allen frees himself. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Carrey holds on and takes a little breather. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tim Carrey dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Allen tries to keep at a distance but Carrey has taken the fight into the clinch. Allen wants to break free but Carrey has control.

Carrey shoots for a takedown but Allen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Allen shoots in but no luck this time. Carrey tries to clinch but Allen moves away and Allen counters with a nice double leg into side control. Carrey won't be happy with that. Carrey is breathing heavily. Allen throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Allen connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Carrey some visible discomfort.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Allen trying to control the action but Carrey is working from the bottom. Allen moves into full mount! Allen looking to control but Carrey is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Carrey tries to hold on but Allen pushes him away. Carrey keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Allen controlling the pace for now. Allen is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Carrey is surviving well by controlling Allen's body position as best he can. Allen is landing with some decent strikes but Carrey is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Carrey is desperately trying to improve his position but Allen has a good base and remains in mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Allen landing punches. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Allen working Carrey over with strikes here. Allen trying to control but Carrey is having none of it. Allen manages to capitalize on a mistake by Carrey to take his back! Allen could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Allen trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Carrey trying to control the action but Allen just sinks the hooks in. Allen tries to get the hooks in deep but Carrey pushed the leg off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Allen dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Allen scores a takedown into full mount! Carrey is trying desperately to improve position. Carrey prevents Allen from taking his back. Allen lands a big shot there that rocks Carrey but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Carrey tries to hold on but Allen postures up. Carrey is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Allen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Carrey is looking to escape. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Carrey tries to lock up and control but Allen gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Allen with shots to the head and body - Carrey looks very uncomfortable down there. Carrey is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Carrey slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Carrey is controlling Allen's position as best he can from this difficult position. Carrey moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Allen is pushing down on Carrey's leg trying to pass to half guard. Carrey is fighting to maintain full guard but Allen has managed to sneak the leg through. Allen passes to full mount! Allen lands a heavy elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Allen avoids the attempt from Carrey to control. Carrey really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Allen looking to secure an arm triangle but Carrey defends it well. Allen thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Allen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Carrey is looking to escape. Carrey wants to control but Allen is having none of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Carrey really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
