Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tomi Jarzynka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vitali Arvowsky! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jarzynka fails with a takedown attempt. Jarzynka looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Arvowsky feints and as Jarzynka raises his hands in defense, Arvowsky changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Arvowsky controls from within his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Arvowsky is looking to stand up but Jarzynka won't let him. Arvowsky pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jarzynka is keeping the position for now. Arvowsky slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Arvowsky tries to stand but Jarzynka is controlling from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Vitali Arvowsky. Jarzynka slips a jab and a cross from Arvowsky.

Arvowsky wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Arvowsky ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Arvowsky no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Arvowsky bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jarzynka's guard. Jarzynka preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Jarzynka is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Arvowsky seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Arvowsky stands and throws Jarzynka's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jarzynka is trying to escape the position but Arvowsky is controlling the position. Arvowsky tries to advance to mount but Jarzynka denies him. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Arvowsky remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Arvowsky tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. You can see the frustration on Jarzynka's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Arvowsky wants to take a breather but Jarzynka manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Arvowsky. Arvowsky sitting in guard, not really doing much.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Vitali Arvowsky wasn't active enough on the ground. Jarzynka looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jarzynka misses with a takedown attempt - Arvowsky sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Arvowsky gets in close and instigates a clinch. Arvowsky wants to break free but Jarzynka has control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jarzynka tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Arvowsky stuns Jarzynka with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Arvowsky tries to pass to full mount but Jarzynka defends it. Arvowsky missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Arvowsky is looking to advance position but Jarzynka won't allow it. Arvowsky is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Jarzynka! Arvowsky avoids the attempt from Jarzynka to control. Jarzynka tries to bench press Arvowsky off him but Arvowsky keeps the position. Arvowsky is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jarzynka knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Jarzynka is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Arvowsky off and has taken his back!

Tomi Jarzynka has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Vitali Arvowsky is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. And that's the end of the fight! Vitali Arvowsky comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Arvowsky has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
