Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Cherry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryce Tanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cherry's entrance music is Let me ride that donkey!. A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bryce Tanner was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Kavanagh and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanner throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cherry throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tanner's waist but Tanner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cherry off to one side.
Cherry shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cherry closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tanner circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don Cherry. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cherry shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cherry showed some decent athleticism there.
Tanner is trying to stand.
Cherry is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tanner defends it well.
Cherry stops Tanner from getting back to his feet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tanner can do anything to dispel that myth.
Cherry is looking to advance position but Tanner won't allow it.
Cherry is trying to work for a kimura but Tanner is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cherry tries to pass the half guard into mount. Tanner knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Tanner is not content to let Cherry control the position.
Cherry throwing shots but Tanner is blocking nicely.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Cherry closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Cherry moves out of range of the body kick.
Cherry is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tanner.
Tanner keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tanner stuffs the takedown attempt from Cherry. Cherry gets slowly back to his feet.
Cherry shoots in for a takedown but Tanner shows good takedown defense.
Tanner lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Cherry falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bryce Tanner!
