Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zane Peltier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teddy Westside (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peltier kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rockstar-Chamillionaire. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Zane Peltier! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Teddy Westside! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Kavanagh and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Westside lands a body shot.
Westside cracks Peltier with a good jab. Westside lands with a right hand. Peltier tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Peltier throws a sloppy head kick and Westside moves out of range easily. Westside goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Good leg kick by Westside there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Peltier takes a swing at Westside's ribcage but misses. Peltier ducks under a wild hook from Westside. Peltier ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Westside moves away. A head kick misses from Peltier. Westside looking to land some kicks to the body here.
This has been an exciting period of action! Peltier dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peltier has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Westside finds it's way round the side to connect with Peltier's head. Peltier scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Peltier looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Westside is trying to get back to full guard. Peltier trying to pass the guard but Westside defending well. Peltier wants to take a breather but Westside is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Peltier not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Westside is looking to improve his position.
Peltier is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Westside doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Peltier. Peltier thows a huge punch but Westside dodges it nicely.
Peltier missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Westside is defending against the submission attempts here by Peltier.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Peltier seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Westside does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peltier is working for a submission of some sort.
Peltier working over Westside with some ground and pound. Westside looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Peltier wants to control but Westside is keeping him busy. Peltier thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Westside's head. Peltier lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Peltier throwing shots but Westside is blocking nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Westside on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Peltier is trying to control the action in half guard but Westside is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Peltier is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Westside regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Peltier. Peltier seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Westside really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Peltier. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Peltier stands and throws Westside's legs to the side, diving into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zane Peltier dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Westside scores with a crisp jab that stopped Peltier in his tracks. Peltier misses with a kick to the body.
Peltier moves out of range of the strikes. Peltier takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Westside throws a hook but Peltier blocks it. Peltier ducks under a wild hook from Westside. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Peltier. Westside misses with a wild body shot. Peltier shoots in but no luck this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Peltier. Westside does a little dance to reset his feet. A big right from Westside misses. A swing and a miss from Westside. Teddy Westside seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Westside stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Westside wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zane Peltier. That's going to take a lot out of him. Westside connects with a leg kick. Peltier looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Westside staying out of range there. Westside fakes the leg kick and cracks Peltier in the body. Westside throws a lazy right hand but Peltier sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Peltier tries for a takedown but Westside sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Teddy Westside seems to be getting the better of the standup. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Westside, right into the meat.
Peltier shoots in and drives through. Westside sprawls well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peltier bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Westside's head. Westside jabbing away but nothing is landing. Westside is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Peltier needs to keep his hands up - Westside had a free shot at his head there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Westside digs a good hook to Peltier's body.
Westside pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Peltier throws a leg kick and Westside counters with a lovely straight right hand! Westside throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Peltier decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Peltier throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Westside trying to hold on to Peltier's head to control him but Peltier postures up.
Peltier wants to pass to mount but Westside is defending the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Westside wants to improve his position but Peltier is controlling well.
Westside is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Peltier slips a nice elbow through Westside's hands, connecting with Westside's forehead. Peltier is working for a submission of some sort.
Peltier not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Peltier throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Peltier wants to advance to full mount but Westside doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Peltier stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Westside swivels though and keeps the full guard. Westside preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Peltier pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Westside is keeping the position for now. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Peltier stopping the sweep attempt from Westside. Westside has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Teddy Westside showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Westside throws a leg kick that is checked and Peltier counters with a nice double leg into side control. Westside won't be happy with that. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Westside can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peltier is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Westside has escaped the position, nice work there. Westside is trying to get back to half guard. Peltier thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Westside parries the strikes from Peltier easily there. Peltier is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Westside to escape.
Peltier tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Peltier has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Peltier has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Westside is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Peltier yanks on the arm and Westside is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Peltier.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Zane Peltier! Zane Peltier retains his lightweight title! In his post fight interview, Zane Peltier started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
