Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Long Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dong comes to the cage accompanied by Big Balls. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Long Dong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tim Jacobs!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs dives in and grabs Dong's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dong pushes down on Jacobs's head and hops out.
Dong tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jacobs sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dong somewhat.
Jacobs shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jacobs is looking to chop away at Dong's legs.
Dong displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jacobs.
Long Dong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Jacobs.
Dong slaps away a takedown attempt from Jacobs, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jacobs fails with a takedown attempt.
Jacobs shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dong sprawls well. Dong wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jacobs gets slowly back to his feet.

Dong gets caught flat footed, as Jacobs shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Dong wants to sweep here but Jacobs controlling him for the moment.

Dong bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jacobs's guard.

Jacobs is trying to control Dong's posture but Dong avoids it.

Jacobs wants to improve his position but Dong is controlling well.

Jacobs is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dong's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dong's back!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jacobs connects with a nice short shot to Dong's temple.
Jacobs looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dong with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Jacobs has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jacobs lands a nice short elbow.

Jacobs lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Dong quite badly. Dong pulls Jacobs in close trying to recover. Jacobs postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Dong on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Dong doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tim Jacobs!
A relieved looking Tim Jacobs thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
