Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricard Cuenca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steele kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is My Time. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele shoots in for a takedown but Cuenca shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Steele tries to keep at a distance but Cuenca has taken the fight into the clinch.
Cuenca tries a body shot but Steele blocks it.
Cuenca misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Steele wants to take the fight to the mat but Cuenca manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Cuenca fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Cuenca lands a nice uppercut.
Cuenca pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Steele fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Steele. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cuenca lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Cuenca stuffs the takedown.
Steele takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cuenca lunges at Steele with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Steele's hand.
Cuenca feints and then cracks Steele's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Steele down.

Steele fails with a takedown attempt.
Cuenca scores with a kick to the midsection.
Steele is breathing heavily.

Steele shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cuenca as he avoids it easily.
Ricard Cuenca is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Cuenca dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Steele. That did some damage!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cuenca lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Steele or not.
Cuenca breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cuenca uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Steele.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Steele. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Cuenca lands a big head kick that sends Steele tumbling to the mat! Cuenca takes a step backwards and waves Steele back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Steele is rocked!
Cuenca moves into the clinch.
Oh Steele is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cuenca breaks from the clinch.
Cuenca lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Cuenca instigates a clinch.
Steele is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
A shot in the inside from Cuenca.
Cuenca dips a shoulder and cracks Steele with a mighty uppercut! Steele falls back against the cage and Cuenca unloads with a barrage of strikes! Steele is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Cuenca screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ricard Cuenca!
