PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Jules Chua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arturo Rojas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chua comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the Tiger by Survivor. Rojas has chosen Brother Ali - Uncle Sam Goddamn as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Arturo Rojas is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chua is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Chua walks into a straight right hand and goes down! Rojas rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but Chua has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action.

Rojas fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Chua has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Rojas clips Chua with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Chua a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.
Oh Chua is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well Rojas has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
