The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cannon scores with a decent looking hook.
Holland swinging wildly here.
Holland could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Holland misses with a few strikes there.
Holland fails with the takedown.

Holland tries to keep at a distance but Cannon has taken the fight into the clinch.
Holland changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Cannon fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Cannon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Holland swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Cannon drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Cannon tries to free his leg and advance position but Holland is retaining full guard.
Cannon throwing strikes but missing.

Cannon drops back looking for a leg! Holland is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Holland manages to kick Cannon off! Cannon jumps back into Holland's guard.

Cannon wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Holland's closed guard. He's half up but Holland has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Holland pivots and extends the arm, Cannon falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Holland! Well done that man!
