Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Knife (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royler Bot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Royler Bot is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Knife! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Royler Bot! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knife checks a low kick from Bot. Knife moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Bot checks a leg kick. Knife fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bot manages to avoid it. Bot shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Bot throws a nice outside leg kick. Knife defending well as Bot loads up on a big left hand. A clash of legs there as Knife blocks the low kick. Royler Bot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bot misses with a head kick.
Bot wants to slow Knife down by chopping away at his legs. The fighters circling - Bot throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Bot ducks under a wild hook from Knife. Bot shoots in and gets a takedown into Knife's guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Bot throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Bot throws a big right hand that misses. Bot being controlled here momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bot accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Bot chips away with some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Knife looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bot with a flurry of punches that miss. Knife avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bot accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bot postures up.
Bot has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Jack Knife just wasn't active enough. Knife throws a looping overhand right but Bot ducks down to avoid it. Knife fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Bot shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Knife pinned against the cage. Knife gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Knife misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bot.
A leg kick checked by Knife. Knife lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Nice uppercut there from Knife. Knife swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bot buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Knife cracks Bot with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Knife swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Knife, right into the meat.
Bot throws a jab but it's blocked by Knife. A low kick from Bot is predictable there and Knife counters with a stiff right hand. Knife bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bot's head. Bot throws a sloppy head kick and Knife moves out of range easily. An inside leg kick lands from Knife. Bot misses with a low kick.
Bot throws a predictable looking body shot
and Knife cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A head kick misses from Bot. Jack Knife is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bot ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Knife moves away. Knife on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Knife stuffs the takedown. Bot scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Knife scores with a jab to the head.

He's persisting with it as Knife sprawls well. Knife wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bot gets slowly back to his feet. Jack Knife has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Royler Bot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bot fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Knife checks it well. Bot takes a swing at Knife's ribcage but misses. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bot closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Knife did well to prevent Bot getting side control. Knife manages to get to full guard.
Knife pulls Bot in to control the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Knife trying to control the position.

Knife throws a jab when Bot was well out of range. Bot thows a body shot but no joy. Knife defending well as Bot loads up on a big left hand. Bot throws a leg kick but Knife checks it. Bot slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Knife knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bot on the ground. That's four minutes gone in the round. Bot tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bot is squirming around, avoiding Knife's attempts to control the action. Bot gets back to half guard. Royler Bot has got the better of the ground game so far. Bot is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bot is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Royler Bot showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Bot with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Knife to score with a decent uppercut. Knife thows a body shot but no joy. Knife lands a slapping body shot.
Bot tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Bot throws a front kick aimed at Knife's knee but Knife avoids it well. Knife fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bot. Bot throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Knife connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bot. Bot circles away out of range and recomposes himself. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bot checks a leg kick. Bot lands a leg kick that knocks Knife off balance momentarily. Knife works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. A good leg kick by Bot. Nice cross by Knife. Knife motions for Bot to come forward. Knife throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Bot closes the distance and clinches up with Knife, looking for a takedown. Bot pushes Knife against the cage but Knife circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jack Knife has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Bot lands a couple of decent looking shots. Bot trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bot postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Knife is rocked! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bot pushes down on Knife's leg and manages to get into half guard. Oh Knife is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Bot takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Bot is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Knife is hurt! He's hurt bad - Bot fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Knife from any more punishment! Congratulations to Bot! Great finish!
