Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sho Goon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Decio Dantas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dantas comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ah Lelek Lek Lek Lek kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goon with a lazy takedown attempt
and Dantas counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dantas.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Goon wants to improve his position but Dantas is controlling well.

Goon has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Dantas is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Goon.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Dantas moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Goon passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Goon swings around for an armbar but Dantas sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Goon's guard.

Goon working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Dantas's thigh. Dantas counters though and makes it back to full guard.

Goon stands and throws Dantas's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Goon goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Dantas has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Goon but great work by Dantas.
Dantas is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Goon is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Goon gets back to half guard.

Goon is pressing down on Dantas's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Goon tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Goon looking for subs off his back but Dantas has passed one foot through into half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Goon is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Goon wants to hit a switch here but Dantas passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Goon there!

Goon sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Well Goon has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
