Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay Voorhees (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Voorhees comes to the cage accompanied by Friday the 13th Theme. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Allen!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voorhees tries to clinch but Allen is having none of it.
Allen throws a hook to the side of Voorhees's head but Voorhees sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Allen lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!


It looks like Jay Voorhees has been cut.

Voorhees closes the distance and pushes Allen back into the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Voorhees is trying to trip Allen. He has hold of a leg but Allen is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Voorhees persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Voorhees feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

I would just about give that final round to Kevin Allen.
