Tripper comes to the cage accompanied by Disturbed - Land Of Confusion. Ironz has chosen Limp Bizkit - Gold Cobra as his entrance music. Jack Tripper had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ironz lands an overhand right.
Ironz misses with a head kick.
Tripper wants to clinch up but Ironz keeps it at a distance.
Ironz checks a leg kick nicely.

Ironz darts in and clinches Tripper up against the cage.
Ironz misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Ironz lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Tripper takes an elbow to the temple.
Ironz lands a nice uppercut.
Tripper on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Tripper blocks the elbow strike.
Tripper tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Ironz.
Tripper lands a hook to the side of the head.
Ironz stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tripper blocks the elbow strike.
Tripper is trying to pull guard but Ironz has him pressed against the cage.

With the fighters up against the cage, Ironz throws an elbow but misses.
Ironz prevents Tripper from breaking the clinch.
Tripper wants to stall.
Ironz lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Tripper is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Tripper lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Ironz scores with a shot to the side of Tripper's head.
Tripper tries to stall but Ironz uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Ironz misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Tripper.
Tripper misses with a knee to the head.
Ironz lands a body shot in the clinch.
Tripper is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A head punch on the inside from Tripper fails to land.
Ironz lands a nice elbow.

It looks like Jack Tripper has been cut.
Ironz lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Ironz softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.

Ironz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ironz connects with a jab.
Crunch! Ironz slams his shin into Tripper's torso.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ironz is looking to slow Tripper down with leg kicks.
Ironz lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Nice straight punches there by Ironz. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ironz.
Ironz thumps Tripper with a low kick.
Ironz fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tripper has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Arnie Ironz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good leg kick by Ironz there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Ironz tests Tripper's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Ironz feints and then cracks Tripper's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tripper down.
Ironz's jab looks to have found its range, popping Tripper under the eye.
Ironz fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tripper.

Ironz gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ironz comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Ironz avoiding damage.
Tripper tries to throw a body punch but Ironz avoids it by throwing Tripper back against the cage.
Tripper's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Tripper is rocked!
Ironz dips a shoulder and cracks Tripper with a mighty uppercut! Tripper falls back against the cage and Ironz unloads with a barrage of strikes! Tripper is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Ironz screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arnie Ironz!
Arnie Ironz decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
